Clarity: The Key To Creating A Prolific And Profitable Portfolio

Think about it.
How many people do you know (maybe yourself included) who have tried to invest in property, but have found themselves stuck, struggling, or stressed - whilst never really reaching their wealth goals?

If you look at the stats, out of the 2 million + property investors nationwide, 75% of property investors never make it past one property, and 90% never make it past two!

And why do you think that is?

Well, like most people I too have made mistakes in property. When Gabi and I started our property journey, we basically did everything wrong!

Yikes.

The upside, however, is that this inspired us to want to help other people avoid making these same mistakes.

From talking to investors almost every day, I’ve realised that the biggest first question, and the one that most people don’t know how to answer is:

Where do you want to go?

You see, starting your investment journey without having a clear end goal in mind is akin to walking out into the desert with no map, no supplies, and no compass… destined for failure.

So, ask yourself - specifically what is it you’re trying to achieve? And by when?


People often blurt out pointless postcard platitudes like “financial freedom” or “a big portfolio”... but what does that even mean?

The reality is, everyone is going to have a different goal, a different timeline, a different purpose… but I can tell you, that it usually boils down to three key drivers:

  1. Freedom

  2. Significance

  3. Transformation

For some, it’s the freedom to be able to work by choice, not necessity. The ability to travel the world… or just the freedom to spend more time with family.

Or perhaps it is just the freedom from stress and worry by knowing they have created enough financial security that they now have choices… options… control.

For others, it’s about impact or significance. They want to build a financial legacy for their family, to create a lasting impact long after they are gone… they want to provide a life of abundance and success to those closest to them…

For some people I speak to, they want to become the inspirational leaders in their community, that can inspire others to a life of greatness.

For others still, they want change. They feel trapped by the burden of obligation and uncertainty, and they know that they can become so much more in their own lives… they are committed to creating a life where they can do more, be more, and see more. 

Any of those sound like you?

I encourage you to take some time and really think…"what do I want my life to look like in the next 5, 10, or 20 years?”
Map it out in as much detail as possible… and don’t hold back!

And once you have that vision, and you have a clear destination in mind… it’s time for action.

Now that you have clarity on where you’re going, you need to get clarity on the vehicle to get you there, and then start building out your strategic roadmap.

For most Australians, the vehicle of choice is residential real estate… BUT here is where clarity comes in again.
