A researcher and analyst by background, Ross Elliott has more than 35 years experience in property. He has held a number of senior leadership roles with the Property Council, was inaugural CEO of Brisbane Marketing, a past District Chair of the Urban Land Institute, and advisor to a cross-section of businesses, from construction to development to architecture, engineering and planning.

He has written many research pieces, spoken on metropolitan development at conferences in Australia and the US and was published in a global study of suburban development by MIT entitled Infinite Suburbia. Ross has Chaired the Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Better Suburbs Initiative since formation in 2019 and is also a Director of non-profit research and public  policy group Suburban Futures.

He has a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from University of Queensland and is a Member of the Institute of Company Directors.
