Record-setting rental surge expected to slow
Rents are growing at their fastest rate in more than 10 years and regional rents rose at their fastest rate on record in the last 12 months, but experts say the rapid growth is likely to moderate as investment activity picks up.

Rents are growing at their fastest rate in more than 10 years and regional rents rose at their fastest rate on record in the last 12 months, but experts say the rapid growth is likely to moderate as investment activity picks up.
CoreLogic’s quarterly analysis of rental markets showed national rental rates rose 6.6 per cent over the year to June 30, led by regional markets which recorded annual rental growth of 11.3 per cent.
