One company claims two of the top national mortgage broking awards
The Australian Mortgage Awards, considered one of the most respected awards in the mortgage industry, has seen Specialist Mortgage emerge with one of the top company and Helen Avis with a top individual award.
The coveted Australian Mortgage Awards 2023 has seen one company emerge with two of the biggest accolades in the mortgage broking industry.
Specialist Mortgage claimed the National Brokerage of the Year (6-20 staff) Award, while the company’s Director of Finance, Helen Avis, took out the acclaimed National Broker of the Year – Specialist Lending Award.
The Australian Mortgage Awards, considered one of the most respected awards in the mortgage industry, showcase excellence and innovation, emphasising the accomplishments of individuals and businesses that contribute significantly to the sector’s growth and development.
This year’s event was hosted by Australian comedian and TV personality Merrick Watts, at The Star Event Centre in Sydney.
With more than 700 brokers, lenders, aggregators and BDMs in attendance, the night honoured professionals and organisations in various categories.
The key awards presented to Specialist Mortgage and Ms Avis are a reflection of their profound impact in the field.
Ms Avis said their recognition stemmed from an ability to assist clients whose needs often did not fit a ‘cookie-cutter’ approach or normal circumstances.
