Gareth Owen

Gareth has been with SMATS Group since 2016, he is a multi-disciplinary senior designer taking ideas and concepts through to realisation with 20+ years experience specialising in UX/UI development, graphic design, B2B & B2C visual communication, brand identity and creative advertising - collaborating with key stakeholders to develop a strategy that solves a creative vision.

Prior to SMATS Group Gareth spent five years at WA Business News and six years with Fairfax Media. He is passionate about design and working with agile brands, has proven experience as a project manager and creative author for complex design assignments and enjoys working under strict deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy. While remaining acquainted with design and industry trends Gareth upholds best practices and strives to create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements.
