Chris Cawson and Irene Zabala

Chris Cawson is a Consultant within the property research team at JANA, providing property investment advice and research of unlisted and listed funds, domestically and internationally.
Prior to joining JANA in 2015, Chris worked with CBRE as a commercial property valuer specialising in commercial office and industrial valuations throughout Melbourne for institutional, banking and corporate clients.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Property) with Distinction from the Curtin University of Technology. Chris is also a Associate Member of the Australian Property Institute (API) and a Certified Practicing Valuer (CPV).
Irene Zabala is an Investment Analyst and a member of the Property Research Team at JANA, assisting with research, analytics and manager monitoring.
Prior to her role at JANA, Irene worked at ISPT as a Research Analyst for the Investor Relations team.
Irene holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Property & Valuation) (First Class Honours, Vice Chancellor’s List) and a Bachelor of Social Science (Policy & Research) (with Distinction) from RMIT University.
