Proof required of identity

Proof of identity (POI) requirements for First Home Plus (FHP) applicants have just been introduced in New South Wales.

According to the NSW Office of State Revenue (OSR), new POI rules took effect from last Monday to match the current POI requirements for the First Home Owners Grant.

According to the OSR, both the current FHP application form (without POI requirements) or the new FHP application form (with POI requirements met) will be accepted until April 19, 2009.
